Monday Gratitude is a post I’d like to write every Monday to start the week off with a little positivity. For many of us, it’s the first day of a long work week. The thought of getting through the next 5 days can be daunting, so I’m hoping it will help to focus on some good things!
Lately, I have been a walking petri dish! I spent the weekend holed up with a nasty cold, and as I mentioned last week, over the holidays I had the stomach flu. There is nothing like these annoying cold and flu bugs to make you grateful for good health. I have also been reminded of the wonders of cold medicine and cough drops – they are lifesavers.
We FINALLY got some snow in Minnesota. Sunday afternoon there was a steady snow fall. I don’t remember the last time we got a decent snowfall during the day on a weekend. It was so nice to just be home and get to enjoy the snow. I’m looking forward to winter finally arriving in Minnesota – there might actually be enough snow to get some snowshoeing in! I’m also looking forward to being able to run in the snow, once this cold clears up. Something to look forward to later this week! Just gotta survive until the weekend, right?
